Adorable farm animals dressed in Christmas jumpers set to bring festive cheer to Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough

Adorable farm animals dressed in Christmas jumpers will take centre stage for the latest Christmas-themed event at Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough this weekend.
Visitors will get the chance to pet goats, donkeys, mini ponies
and more at Santa’s Farm on Saturday, December 9, and Sunday, December 10, from
11am to 3pm.
Everyone is welcome to come along to be in the company of the cute
animals from Ian’s Mobile Farm, who will be gathered together in a
festive-themed pen.
There will also be the opportunity for families to take pictures,
pet and feed some of the animals.
Melissa Cutforth, assistant centre manager at Marshall’s Yard,
said: “This is a chance for everyone in the community to come along and really
get into the Christmas spirit.
“The animals will look absolutely adorable in their festive
jumpers and thank you so much to Ian for bringing them to the centre.
“And a huge thank you to our event sponsors Sills & Betteridge
Solicitors.
“This is the latest in our ’12 Days of Christmas’ programme of
events leading up to Christmas. So come on down and enjoy the fun!”

at the event, which we are sure will help everyone to get into the festive

Shoppers will also have the opportunity to meet Santa
and his Elf in the Grotto on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 3pm.
There will also be free face painting on Saturday,
December 9, from 11am to 3pm, sponsored by the main ’12 Days of Christmas’
programme sponsor McDonald’s franchisee Bomead Ltd.
Visitors can also expect to hear the sounds of traditional brass
bands across the weekend with live performances from the Blidworth Welfare Brass Band who will be playing between
11am and 1pm both days around the fountain area.
A Disney-themed meet and greet event with Mickey and Minnie Mouse will take place on Saturday, December 16, between 11am and 1pm.
A brass band from the Salvation Army will be playing on Saturday, December 16, from 10am, and the following day, Sunday, December 17, the 119 Squadron Cadet Brass Band will play for the crowds from 1pm. Santa will also be around in his Grotto to hear your Christmas wishes all weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 3pm.
And taking
you right up to Christmas, there will be further festive entertainment,
including a Santa’s Grotto and brass band, on Saturday, December 23, and
Sunday, December 24, from 10am onwards.
