Gainsborough Farmers’ Market returns this weekend!

Gainsborough's monthly Farmers’ Market is set to return on Saturday 8th August from 9am-3pm, showcasing over 10 of the very best local traders.

Fresh produce will be available from WestWood Farm, Kevin Lees Pies, Patrick Capps Fish and the award-winning Redhill Farm.

Enjoy a weekend treat from the food-to-go stall, Hepy’s Hog Roast, or take home something sweet from Sarah’s Sweet Treats.

Handmade crafts and gifts from Curly Nook Jewellery, Giddy Kipper Plants and Wild Rose Soap will be available too along with new trader, Frankie’s Enchanted, who makes children’s fancy dress and imagination play costumes!

The Gainsborough Farmers’ Market is located in the Market Place in the town centre. Stalls are now set up in a way to keep both traders and customers safe, allowing lots of space to keep the socially distant.

Hand sanitiser is also offered to customers free of charge and traders have removed samples and are taking contactless payments wherever possible.

Centre Manager of Marshalls Yard, Alison Shipperbottom said: “The weather is set to be great this Saturday so be sure to pop down to Market Place and pick up your weekend treats, barbeque food or something new for the home!”

Gainsborough’s Farmers & Craft market is a joint initiative coordinated by Marshall’s Yard with West Lindsey District Council.
