Hop on Down to Marshall’s Yard for the 2026 Easter Eggstravaganza

31 March 2026

It’s spring at Marshall’s Yard – and the team have been busy planning an egg-citing day of Easter themed fun for shoppers of all ages on Saturday April 4th.

From 11am until 2pm, visitors can enjoy a great line up of seasonal entertainment throughout the day.

Youngsters can hop, skip, and jump into lots of FREE activities at the centre – transforming into their favourite characters at the centre’s free face painting station, available from 11am to 2pm.

The nation’s favourite bunny is also back. Visit the Peter Rabbit Meet & Greet from 11am to 1pm, for a chance to enjoy a photo opportunity and a cuddle with Peter himself. Peter can’t wait to see lots of excited visitors from last year!

From 1pm to 1:30pm, The Rock Choir will return to the fountain area for a lively Easter themed performance.

The fun doesn’t stop there – there’s also a Hoppy Easter cut out board for seasonal photo opportunities, as well as a Golden Egg Hunt, with exciting prizes awaiting the best egg hunters.

This month’s Independent Quarter Market is also taking place on April 4th. Running from 10am – 3pm along the central path in the car park, it’s the perfect spot to explore a variety of handcrafted and artisan goods from talented local traders.

The Easter Eggstravaganza is kindly sponsored by Sills & Betteridge solicitors, who have been serving the Gainsborough community from Marshall’s Yard for the last 15 years. This March also marks an impressive milestone for Branch Manager Angie Driver, who celebrates 30 years in the legal profession.

Angie Driver, who is also a Chartered Legal Executive at Sills & Betteridge,  said "We are delighted to once again support the Easter celebrations at Marshall's Yard by sponsoring the face painting, helping to bring a little extra colour and joy to the day!

“It is wonderful to see the local community come together to celebrate and we are proud to play a small part in making the event even more special. We hope everyone has a fantastic time enjoying all the festivities, and we’d like to wish you all a very Happy Easter!"

Melissa Clement, Centre Manager at Marshall’s Yard said: “There are some amazing Easter gifts and decorations in our stores right now, and we are really excited to be hosting the Easter Eggstravaganza and our Independent Quarter Market on the same day. We’d also like to say a big thank you to Sills & Betteridge for their generous sponsorship of this year’s Easter Eggstravaganza!

The event is a great opportunity to bring the whole family together for Easter. We look forward to welcoming the local community to the centre for a day of great Easter fun and entertainment.”
