Melissa Joins the Marshall’s Yard Team!

Melissa Cutforth has been welcomed to the Centre Management team at Gainsborough’s Marshall’s Yard shopping centre this week.
Melissa joins the team with a strong background in events and marketing and will be working with the Centre Manager, Jodie Pacey, as Assistant Centre Manager.
Melissa, who is 28 and from Scunthorpe will support Jodie in all aspects of centre management as well as playing a key role in organising and delivering the centre’s busy events plan both in Marshall’s Yard and Gainsborough town centre as well as the monthly Farmers’ and Craft Markets.
Melissa brings a range of skills to the team in both marketing and events management from her previous role as Events Assistant at Javelin Track Days. A graduate in International Events from Sheffield’s Hallam University, Melissa has already set to work getting to grips with plans for the Christmas Lights Festival and forming close relationships with the centre’s businesses.
She said: “I am really thrilled to be part of the Marshall’s Yard team, it’s a really exciting time for the centre at the moment with lots of plans afoot for Christmas.”
“The prospects, challenges and diversity of the role really interests me as well as Marshall’s Yard being a beautiful place to work.”
Jodie said: “We are really pleased to have welcomed Melissa to the team, we have an exciting three months ahead with plans well underway for our Christmas Lights Festival followed by something festive happening every weekend on the centre in the countdown to Christmas.”
